Faculty
While integrated yoga is her passion, teaching is her calling. Over the last two decades, Her mission has been to demystify yogic science at all levels and then guide the students to blossom in their own way.
Her unique skill is to teach the yogic postures (Yogasana) as a neuro-muscular practice using breath, directing attention on the physical body and the subtler energy centres.This is a stepping stone to advanced breathing techniques or pranayama. This approach yields much more life-long benefit to the student in terms of mental, emotional and physical health as well as spiritual progress.
She has been initiated in the scientific practices of breathing at the age of 21 years and was drawn to the techniques of Pranayama. She has learned these breathing practices from different Teachers from various schools like Ambica Yoga Kutir, Bihar School, The Santacruz Yoga Institute, Kaivalyadhaam and has crafted courses that deliver the best of each tradition in a modern and student-friendly way.
